For 10 years in a row since Faith's birth, we have captured the first sunrise each year somewhere fun. This year was tougher for two reasons; the sun never peaked through after hours of waiting, and a big wave took the fun away (see before and after pics below).

The best news is I am still humbled by my daughter and by nature proving we are not masters of all we see, though reminded love can be shared if we just get the timing right.

We thank you for our friendship or the chance to have met recently. We hope this year brings you sunshine and rain, and some big waves to surf, cry and laugh about.
